It has been definitively established that we Coloradans (native and non-native alike) love our beer. After all, Colorado didn’t get the moniker “Napa Valley of Beer” for nothing. Although we have easy access to a multitude of yummy brews year-round, there are few among us who don’t appreciate access to dozens of brews all at once. Enter the Denver Summer Brew Fest.
Though the Denver Summer Brew Fest hasn’t reached the enormous proportions of an event like the Great American Beer Festival (held in Denver, FYI), it’s an opportunity for locals to get out and try more than 125 brews from over 45 craft breweries – many of which are located in our own beloved city and state. In fact, it’s not uncommon for you to chat with the person who concocted the tasty beverage you’re drinking in the same moment you drink it. What could be better?!
As one of Your Lucky Deals savvy patrons, we’re know you’re wondering how you will get home after imbibing all that beer. Fear not! For only $10, your designated driver can gain admission to a special lounge area of the fest and have unlimited access to snacks and soft drinks (in addition to your undying gratitude). If you can’t find a designated driver, it’s the perfect opportunity to utilize Denver’s fantastic public transportation system and interact with the many colorful characters of this fair city.
If you’re feeling fancy or you’re due for a Date Night, VIP tickets are available for just 10 dollars more than general admission. Not only will you be the first in the door, you’ll get to taste some exclusive brews and enjoy cheese samplings from MouCo (local!) expertly paired with various beers. Whether you’re a VIP or lumped in with the rest of us common folk, the Summer Brew Fest is an event worth going to! But be warned – tickets often sell out, so avoid disappointment and buy yours in advance!
